Canadian celebrity chef to promote her new show among fans in

Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila and Kuala Lumpur

SINGAPORE, 17 JUNE 2017– Asian Food Channel (AFC) welcomes Anna Olson to four cities in Southeast Asia as she promotes her new show Inspired with Anna Olson, premiering exclusively on AFC come Friday, 29 July at 9.00pm. The culinary icon will start her two week tour in Singapore from 8 July and travel onwards to Ho Chi Minh City, Manila and Kuala Lumpur to get close and personal with fans from the region.


Inspired with Anna Olson has a total of 10 episodes and will feature Anna’s unforgettable culinary journey from street food stalls to high-end restaurants, to learn the secrets behind Asia’s best-loved signature dishes and then adapt the techniques, ingredients and flavors in her kitchen to create her own inspired dishes gathered from her travels.


During the first of Anna’s two part visit to Singapore, she meets and learns from Peranakan Chef Violet Oon, who shows Anna the cooking techniques and the rich heritage behind the preparation of Peranakan favorites such as Ayam Tempra (braised chicken) and Kaya Toast (coconut jam with butter on toast). Inspired by Ayam Tempra, Anna uses the technique of a one-pot braised dish with her Inspired Chicken Paprikash. Drawing parallels between the ginger and chili in Tempra and ground paprika in her dish.

Peace Point Rights and Cisneros Media Distribution announce distribution agreement for multiple international territories

Toronto, Canada – June 06, 2016Peace Point Rights and Cisneros Media Distribution (CMD) announce an agreement that will see Peace Point as the exclusive distributor for CMD’s unscripted titles in multiple international territories.  Initial titles include the news special End of Days, children’s educational series Super Genius, celebrity entertainment series Talk the Walk, Olympic documentary series Flame of Passion, and the reality series’ SHÄK and XRC.  The agreement was arranged by Julie Chang, Senior Vice President of Business Affairs and Acquisitions for Peace Point Rights, and Marcello Coltro, Executive Vice President, Content Distribution for Cisneros Media.

The agreement covers exclusive distribution rights in Canada, UK, France, Monaco, Andorra, French speaking Belgium and Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Baltics, Balkans, CIS, Australia and New Zealand.

Peace Point’s Bulloch Family Ranch, an UP Original Series, 
is renewed for a second season
